Get the Memo on Healthcare

When will the Obama Administration get off their Health Care trip? Maybe they didn't get the memo but, the Americans aren't buying it. Their excuse is that they haven't explained it well enough for us to understand. On the contrary my friends, they have been on a campaign trail with this thing for a year. We've seen it, we've read it, we don't agree with the proposals. How many of the delegates can truly say they've read this bill?

Did you tune into the live feed on the 7 hour debate? Mr. Obama thought this would be a good way to resolve the issues and finally come to an agreement. That didn't work either. While I was skimming the feed, Barack came off as a father scolding a child. He is trying to command respect and he comes off as a pompous ass. Haven't you ever seen a public figure that naturally has that commanding presence? Here is a good comparison, Tony Snow vs. Robert Gibbs. When Tony Snow was addressing the press, they never got over on him. He was direct, assertive, had a sense of humor, and most of all had respect. The respect didn't have to be forced, he had a presence about him where people would show respect without having to think about it. Robert Gibbs on the other hand is bumbling fool that doesn't always seem to be insynch with the White House. He gets agitated and annoyed with the line of questioning. This is the same problem with Obama, his skin is not thick enough to take any type of criticism or disagreement. Haven't you ever seen his perturbed look on his face when his teleprompter goes out? Is he too big a man to laugh at himself every once in awhile? Whoever questions him or the Administration gets a fatherly scolding, "Don't you talk to me that way boy".

So here's the deal, if the Health Care bill goes through, we are headed down a path we don't want to go. If we think that we're screwed with the insurance rates being too high, what the heck do you think will happen when we have to pay for millions of people to have insurance? For those of us that don't agree with the bill, there is criticism that we don't have a heart of charity for those less fortunate. Let me tell you something, this isn't about not wanting to take care of those that don't have the ability to pay for their medical needs, it's about not wanting government to take control over our health care. Additionally, we don't want to be held accountable for trillions of dollars that is unsustainable! How can Obama honestly tell the American people that this bill will save money? Explain that to me, because I just don't get it.

Maybe it's time for us to send a bigger memo.
