Americas Fate Will Be Decided

The time has come for the vote, all cards are on the table, whatever it takes to ram this bill through. It has been a year of campaign speeches, tea party gatherings and Americans waking up for the first time. We have made it very clear that we oppose this bill, but have the elitists, spineless goons in congress listened? They don't care about what we want, they care that this is 'historic'. They will use all their power, all their mind games to get what they want-a Universal Health care plan that will ruin our country.

If we have paid attention at all to Barack Obama on the campaign trail, he said it all. Rather than listening, people were too mesmerized with his smooth talking, jive dancing, hope promising banter that they put him in office. Now look where we are.

The left will tell you that those on the right are playing fear tactics and spreading lies, but just the opposite is happening. The facts and truth are being laid out before us, we can either run from it, shut our eyes or we can listen and open our eyes. The only choice we have is to educate ourselves. We need to understand our rights, our Constitution and what our Founders wanted for our country.

Americas fate will be decided tomorrow on Capital Hill. Whatever the outcome,
we must not feel defeated. We must not stand down. The American bond needs to grow stronger that it has ever been.

Get the Memo on Healthcare

When will the Obama Administration get off their Health Care trip? Maybe they didn't get the memo but, the Americans aren't buying it. Their excuse is that they haven't explained it well enough for us to understand. On the contrary my friends, they have been on a campaign trail with this thing for a year. We've seen it, we've read it, we don't agree with the proposals. How many of the delegates can truly say they've read this bill?

Did you tune into the live feed on the 7 hour debate? Mr. Obama thought this would be a good way to resolve the issues and finally come to an agreement. That didn't work either. While I was skimming the feed, Barack came off as a father scolding a child. He is trying to command respect and he comes off as a pompous ass. Haven't you ever seen a public figure that naturally has that commanding presence? Here is a good comparison, Tony Snow vs. Robert Gibbs. When Tony Snow was addressing the press, they never got over on him. He was direct, assertive, had a sense of humor, and most of all had respect. The respect didn't have to be forced, he had a presence about him where people would show respect without having to think about it. Robert Gibbs on the other hand is bumbling fool that doesn't always seem to be insynch with the White House. He gets agitated and annoyed with the line of questioning. This is the same problem with Obama, his skin is not thick enough to take any type of criticism or disagreement. Haven't you ever seen his perturbed look on his face when his teleprompter goes out? Is he too big a man to laugh at himself every once in awhile? Whoever questions him or the Administration gets a fatherly scolding, "Don't you talk to me that way boy".

So here's the deal, if the Health Care bill goes through, we are headed down a path we don't want to go. If we think that we're screwed with the insurance rates being too high, what the heck do you think will happen when we have to pay for millions of people to have insurance? For those of us that don't agree with the bill, there is criticism that we don't have a heart of charity for those less fortunate. Let me tell you something, this isn't about not wanting to take care of those that don't have the ability to pay for their medical needs, it's about not wanting government to take control over our health care. Additionally, we don't want to be held accountable for trillions of dollars that is unsustainable! How can Obama honestly tell the American people that this bill will save money? Explain that to me, because I just don't get it.

Maybe it's time for us to send a bigger memo.

Welcome 2010!

Happy New Year! I can honestly say that I'm thankful 2009 is over, boy what a year it has been.

Over the last several months I have not had the motivation to write anything. Maybe I've been wallowing. It started with disbelief of the newly elected president, the fear set in. Remembering his journey on the campaign trail and the message he delivered to 'fundamentally transform America', I could not comprehend how so many people blindly followed this man. The effect of his presidency immediately set in. I sat idly doing nothing but watching and waiting. The lunacy, idiocy and unbelievable moments that stand out for me are:

Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the pastor of Obama's church for 20 years (Obama left the church after the controversial videos of Rev. Wrights blashemy and blatant statements of racism against the white man).

Van Jones, introduced in Obama's administration who is a self avowed communist (later fired from his post).

The constant love affair the media had with Obama. Those media outlets commenting about Fox News having a right wing agenda.

The chase of Sarah Palin and vicious, derogatory, defiling treatment to her and her family.

Acorn sting. Prostitute and pimp posing to get assistance in purchasing a house to run an illegal sex operation with young girls. The Acorn members under hidden camera one after another offered advice on how to be deceitful about the occupation, and even claiming these girls as dependents.

Cash for Clunkers. A government scam to trade in your clunker vehicle for a new eco-friendly ride. When logging in to the cars.gov website a disclaimer came up notifying you that when you are logged on to the website your computer is considered a federal computer system and it is property of the United States government. After the story was brought to the public, the statement was changed.

The statement Obama made about the police officers who arrested his Harvard professor friend, 'They acted stupidly'. Yet he did not have all the facts about the case.

The murders committed by an Islamic terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan on the Army Base at Fort Hood. The reaction from the White House was, 'not to rush to judgement'.

White House attacks on the tea party movement and Fox News.

Renaming the National Day of Prayer on 9/11 to the National Day of Service. Thanks to Mr. Obama.

The forceful urgency to pass a universal health care bill. (Way to much about this absurdity to comment much further. I'll save it for another time).

These were just some of the things that have made me ask the question, "what the heck has happened to our country?" Then, my heart palpitations began to subside. I witnessed the tea party movement.

I'm ready for 2010. My resolution this year will be to continue seeking the truth. For me, that is starting with The Bible.

Happy New Year! May your year be full of bountiful blessings and new direction.
